The month's Community Day festivities take center stage on October 5th, with the spotlight shining on the bug/grass-type Pokemon, Sewaddle. From 2 PM to 5 PM local time, Sewaddle will appear more frequently in the wild, and players will have an increased chance of encountering a shiny variant. After the event, the evolved form of Sewaddle, Swadloon, will appear in bonus four-star raids from 5 PM to 10 PM local time, and any Sewaddle evolved into Leavanny during the event will learn the special ghost-type Fast Attack, Shadow Claw.
In addition to the featured Pokemon, players can enjoy a host of bonuses, including increased duration for incense and Lure Modules, double candy for catching Pokemon, and a reduced hatch distance for eggs.

As the month draws to a close, Pokemon Go celebrates its annual Halloween extravaganza, divided into two parts. The first part runs from October 22nd to October 28th, introducing two new Pokemon to the game: Morpeko and Dynamax Gastly.
